Donate to Nahant Marsh

Nahant Marsh is a 501(c)(3) non-profit nature center and 382-acre wetland preserve. Nahant has been providing educational, recreational, service learning, and research opportunities to thousands of students, families, and adults for over twenty years. Since its inception in 2000, Nahant Marsh has been dedicated to the restoration and protection of the marsh, research on native plants, animals, and ecosystems, and providing STEM and environmental education to the community and surrounding areas. We could not do this work without the generous support of our donors!

Your gift will support:

  • People of all ages and backgrounds to learn about and appreciate the natural world
  • The next generation of conservation leaders
  • The creation of critical habitat for rare species through the revitalization of the largest urban wetland on the upper Mississippi River.

On behalf of all those living things who call Nahant home, thank you!!

  • Birdies for Charity

"Since 1971, the John Deere Classic has delivered over $159 million to regional charities, most of it through its innovative Birdies for Charity program. No other event on the PGA TOUR does it better -- and it's the generous and hardworking nature of this area that makes it happen!

As before, the tournament will provide a bonus to all participating charities. This year, all charities will be guaranteed a 5% bonus on amounts up to their prior year pledge total, or $100,000, whichever is greater. The Birdies for Charity Bonus Fund is the source of these bonus dollars. This fund is supported with dollars from tournament revenues, special events, direct donations, and a generous matching grant from John Deere."
