EmiLee Novak serves as a part-time AmeriCorps Naturalist. She has Conservation Management and Environmental Science Bachelor's degrees from Upper Iowa University. She is currently enrolled in the Recreation, Park, and Tourism Administration Master's program at Western Illinois University. Prior to working at Nahant, EmiLee researched Cerulean Warblers in Northeast Iowa, analyzing variation in their song throughout the breeding season. She is also very passionate about birds of prey and enjoys working with them every chance she gets. She enjoys birding, hiking, kayaking and drag racing in her free time.
